Chithra Udayashankar is a college instructor, visual artist, and passionate advocate for arts and culture. She has been involved with the Fort McMurray Music Festival for more than 20 years as a parent, volunteer, donor, and now Vice President of the Board.
Inspired by watching her three children participate in the Festival, Chithra is committed to creating opportunities that foster creativity, confidence, and community connection. Her leadership extends to numerous local arts and educational initiatives, reflecting her belief that the arts enrich lives and strengthen communities.
