Julia Rex is an elementary music teacher who has dedicated her career to inspiring a love of music in young learners. A longtime member of the Fort McMurray Music Festival Board, she has supported the Festival for many years while also encouraging countless students to discover the confidence, creativity, and joy that come from music.

Julia's connection to the Festival is both professional and personal. Her own children participated in the Festival for many years, giving her a firsthand appreciation of the positive impact it has on young performers and their families. She is proud to help ensure the Festival continues to provide meaningful opportunities for musicians to learn, perform, and grow, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts within the community.
